Seth Rollins Wasn't Originally Planned To Be The #1 WWE Draft Pick

WWE had plans for a very different draft order which was changed in the lead up to SmackDown Live on Tuesday.

The original plan, according to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline would have seen the following pick order:

- Brock Lesnar for Raw
- Dean Ambrose to Smackdown
- Seth Rollins to Raw
- John Cena to Smackdown

Lesnar was going to be the #1 pick to capitalize on his UFC 200 victory over Mark Hunt. Once Ambrose won the WWE title, he was going to be a top pick to get over the value of the WWE Title. With Cena cutting back on his schedule, he was bumped down the final list a bit.
