WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering made a surprise appearance at Wednesday night's NXT TakeOver: The End event on the WWE Network as the apparent manager of a brand new, unnamed tag team that attacked American Alpha following their loss of the NXT Tag Team Championship to The Revival.

Ellering is perhaps most famous for being the manager of the legendary Legion of Doom tag team.
