WWE NXT Star Suffers A Fractured Ankle

NXT Superstar Elias Samson has suffered a fractured left ankle during a NXT live event match against Andrade Almas, according to a WWE.com report.

The injury occurred this past Friday evening in Nashville, Tennessee when Samson attempted to hit the Stun Gun on Almas and his leg gave way.

"The match had to be stopped due to the injury and Elias was helped to the back, unable to bear weight on the ankle," WWE ringside physician Dr. Chris Amann said to WWE.com on Monday. "Elias will be put in a cast and crutches, but is expected to make a full recovery."
