The Wrestling Observer is reporting that former WWE and WCW star Marc Mero will be undergoing heart surgery next Monday in Cleveland, Ohio, as he was diagnosed with heart issues just this past week.

The 55-year-old initially underwent heart valve replacement surgery back in 2007 and has been dealing with issues involving this ever since. He first started preparing for surgery in late 2014, but was then told he would not need an operation when his enlarged heart actually shrunk; however, he was told he would "most likely" need surgery eventually.
