Vince McMahon comes out and says WWE Raw's been successful because it's been able to morph through the years and re-invent itself and one of his favourite eras was the Attitude Era. Now we have a new era and we need someone with good leadership and good businees acumen and someone who has a vision. This person also has to have good business ethics so we've reached a decision as to who should run Monday Night Raw. Should it be Shane? Should it be Stephanie? Vince then says he doesn't always appreciate the crowd's input and introduces Stephanie McMahon

The crowd starts cheering at Stephanie saying she was viciously speared by Roman Reigns and Vince tells them to shut up and show compassion and support and calls them animals. Stephanie says it's okay she doesn't want their supprot because under The Authority's leadership they saw the debut of The Shield, a new WWE World Champion in Roman Reigns, a newly re-vamped Women's Division and new Women's Champion and the #1 Contender AJ Styles. They also saw the debut of the WWE Network. Unlike Shane.

The only reason Shane thinks he can run Raw is because he's a man but under his leadership Raw will go under. For 7 years, Shane abandoned the WWE and asked if that's what the crowd wants and besides he lost his match against Undertaker. Stephanie also reminds Vince the only way he got his foot back in the door is by blackmailing Vince. The people need someone with business savvy and that person is her.

Shane then comes out and the crowd starts chanting "Shane-O-Mac". Stephanie says it's okay the crowd responds to pandering. Shane says he doesn't normally like to talk about himself but it's what he has to do since they're vying for control of Raw. Shane asks how many headlines her and Triple H have received. Shane then throws to the big screen highlight headlines about Shane's leadership qualities

Shane says Stephanie's trying to take credit for the 1.8 million subscribers to the network when in fact credit should go to the 1.8 million subscribers themselves  and calls his match at Wrestlemania the highlight.

Shane says his departure was a result of disagreement between himself and the CEO and in his absence, Stephanie and Triple H ran their poison through the company and so he returned to the company to ensure a future for her kids and the WWE Universe and asks Vince to listen to him. Vince doesn't have to listen to Shane's voice because the WWE Universe speaks for him.

Shane polls the audience and Stephanie says the one thing Shane has is likeability but business isn't always run by popularity. Vince says Shane DID lose but gave him the opportunity the night after Wrestlemania because he came out and upstaged Vince. Vince says he doesn't listen to the WWE Universe he listens to himself and tonight it's about him and what he wants

He wants to see blood. He wants them to slit each other's throat and disembowel each other. So, they can fight or they can find some sort of collaborative effort because they both run Raw since they both have equal say. Vince exits the ring. Shane and Stephanie shake hands
