During Michael Cole's weekly WWE.com interview, Zack Ryder was interviewed for the first time as part of this segment. Among the many topics discussed, Ryder revealed that while he was in high school, he was diagnosed with cancer. He stated that doctors found a tumor in his foot that spread to both of his lungs, and that he had to undergo both radiation and chemotherapy. Ryder also stated that what further helped him beat cancer was how he knew he had to get to WWE.
