Update On Randy Orton's Return, Former WWE Star Backstage At SmackDown, WWE Raw Rating Down

Posted By: Ben Kerin on Mar 23, 2016

Update On Randy Orton's WWE Return

Randy Orton is expected to return to action in late April or early May. He will be attending a VIP signing session at WrestleMania Axxess on Sunday, April 3 in Dallas, followed by an appearance at the Middle East Film & Comic Con in Dubai from April 7th to April 9th. In January, Orton provided the following update regarding his health:

"I see many of you think I need neck surgery. I heard weeks ago that Meltzer stated it as a fact. I don't keep up with gossip, so I didn't think anything of it. As far as my shoulder, I was cut on 12/8. Things are ahead of schedule and I'm pumped to get back to work. As far as my neck, and I'm only debunking this 'fact' for the sincerely concerned fans, I DONT need neck surgery. Remember, unless you hear about it on WWE.com, you really should take everything you read online concerning pro wrestling with a grain of salt."

Former WWE Superstar Backstage At SmackDown

Former WWE Superstar Chris Nowinski was backstage for last night's SmackDown tapings in Boston. As many will know he is the and Concussion Legacy Foundation co-founder which has worked extensively with WWE in recent years

He took a photo with Natalya.

WWE Raw Rating Down

Monday’s WWE Raw drew 3.399 million viewers, which was down from last week’s 3.457 million viewers. The show was headlined Dean Ambrose vs. Braun Strowman and featured an announcement from Vince McMahon regarding The Hell In A Cell match at WrestleMania.

The final rating for the show came in at 2.44, which was down from last week’s 2.51 rating.
