Tommaso Ciampa Injury Update

NXT star Tommaso Ciampa has responded to reports of an injury which he was believed to have suffered at Friday night’s NXT live event from Cleveland, Ohio. He noted on Twitter that it was a "scare" and no "major damage was done" during the match.

Ciampa and Johnny Gargano were in a matcha gainst NXT tag champions The Revival when Ciampa took Dash and Dawson’s finisher. Ciampa fell to that mat, clearly something was wrong. NXT officials surrounded him before he was taken out of the ring very slowly. 

Ciampa tweeted:

Had a bit of a scare this weekend but no major damage was done. Sometimes it's better to be safe than sorry. Thank you for all the messages.

Powell’s POV: I’m curious to see how the book performs. NXT has a lot of buzz with the hardcore fans, and one would think that they would be the most likely to purchase a pro wrestling book. However, they also strike me as being the most likely to pay attention to reviews before purchasing a book. In other words, let’s hope Mr. Robinson delivers a strong finished product.

New NXT Events Announced   

WWE and Triple announced the following today, regarding new NXT events:

Last week, WWE COO Triple H announced NXT's Rhode Island debut on Friday, April 22. This week, he broke the news that NXT continues its tour that same April weekend, with blockbuster shows in Massachusetts and New York's Hudson Valley!
You can see the fallout from NXT TakeOver: Dallas live and in person on Thursday, April 21, when NXT debuts at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Mass. On Friday, April 22, The Superstars of Tomorrow come to Kingston, R.I., at the Ryan Center. The road trip wraps up on Saturday, April 23 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center. All shows have a 7:30 p.m. bell time.
