WWE has informed all contracted talent that they are required to have personal medical insurance which is up to date they will be introducing random checks with insurance providers from the end of February 2016.

WWE has required talent to personally purchase and maintain medical insurance for themselves since May 2011. WWE covers the costs of all in-ring related medical issues and injuries, including surgeries and physical therapy.

The announcement also made it clear that if talent do not have medical insurance then they could "not be available" to be used by the company.
