WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin revealed during the most recent edition of the "Steve Austin Podcast" that he was almost killed while rehearsing for the crushing of the DX Express which aired on an episode of WWE SmackDown in the year 2000. 

He revealed that he learnt how to control the crane minutes before and the concrete block moved right toward him in the driver seat, only stopping 7-8 inches in front of his head!

Thankfully he lived to tell the tale!
