Awesome Kong has announced via a letter posted on Japanese wrestling website Battle-News.com that she has officially retired from professional wrestling.

Kong says she came to the decision at the advice of her doctor after recently experiencing undisclosed health issues. Kong was previously scheduled to compete at an upcoming event at Japan's Korakuen Hall on November 25th, but has now been withdrawn.
