A report released by The International Business Times notes that hacker activist group Anonymous uncovered a possible ISIS plot to attack The Phillips Arena in Atlanta, the site of tomorrow night’s WWE Survivor Series Pay-Per-View.
WWE issued an official statement responding to the threat noting that as of now Survivor Series will take place as scheduled.
“WWE Survivor Series is currently scheduled as planned while we investigate the matter with federal, state and local authorities.”
The local CBS affiliate in Atlanta reported the following on the FBI's response to the threat:
“The FBI is aware of reports of an alleged threat that includes an Atlanta, Georgia venue and event. While we take all threats seriously, we do not have specific or credible information of an attack at this time. We have, however, made the proper notifications as we continue to work closely with our law enforcement and private sector partners to keep our community safe.”

Editorial Note: I don't usually do this, but I feel it necessary to say with all the unrest in the world at the moment and fear being spread by ISIS one should not be deterred from attending public events. The fact the threat has been uncovered means there will be an increased security presence. We should not feel scared to enjoys the freedoms we believe in - Ben Kerin (WNS Director).
