[WNS Column] Survivor Series Breakdown #1 by Nicholas Pruner

While I do know that no matches have been confirmed yet, I'm gonna take the recent episode of RAW to try to predict the Survivor Series card, and who I believe would win the matches. I'll probably shoot out another column after tonight's RAW as well, with an updated card/thoughts.

Intercontinental Title: Kevin Owens (c) Vs. Cesaro

I'm going to predict right now that Owen's opponent for the title is Cesaro. The two had an awesome match on RAW that saw Owens capitalize with a Superkick when Cesaro was being held back by the ref. I could see the buildup being that Cesaro was mad that Owens capitalized, and demands a match at Survivor Series. Basic buildup, but I'd be excited to see these two compete again. Cesaro should win so Owens can move on to the main event title picture.

Winner and new Intercontinental Champion: Cesaro

Divas Championship: Charlotte (c) Vs. Paige

I'd be surprised if this match doesn't happen. Paige turned heel, yet again, by attacking Charlotte and Becky Lynch during their match with Team Bella. I can predict the buildup being Paige attacking Charlotte every week on RAW until the RAW before Survivor Series, where Charlotte retaliates. Charlotte should retain, to move on to a new feud (see below).

Winner and still Divas Champion: Charlotte

Tag Team Championship: The New Day (c) Vs. The Usos

I could see the Usos returning to WWE very soon, as they're already training in the performance center. The New Day really don't have any contenders right now, so it'd be a perfect time to bring the Usos in. This should be a fresh and great match that gets around 11-12 minutes. Have the New Day retain. They haven't grown stale yet. They're much better with the titles.

Winners and still WWE Tag Team Champions: The New Day

Sasha Banks Vs. Nikki Bella

I know it's a heel Vs. heel match. But the booking is simple. Sasha is so popular with the crowd. You have her defeat Nikki at Survivor Series, so she can say that she defeated the former champion, so she could challenge Charlotte at TLC. Simple as that.

Winner: Sasha Banks

WWE Championship: Seth Rollins (c) Vs. Roman Reigns

This match is practically set in stone. Reigns won a tournament on RAW to get the opportunity to compete for the WWE Championship, and it's not like that's going to happen on RAW or anything like that. This match should get around 20 minutes, and I'm sure they'd make this good. Roman has improved so much over the past year, and Rollins is capable of making anyone look passable. Rollins should retain. I could see Ambrose turning on Reigns to set up the Triple Threat at Wrestlemania. Save the Reigns WWE Championship victory for Wrestlemania.

Winner and still WWE Champion: Seth Rollins

Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match: The Undertaker, Kane, and the Dudley Boyz Vs. The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Braun Strowman, & Erick Rowan)

It's pretty obvious that we're going to see Kane and the Undertaker battle the Wyatts. After the attacks at Hell in a Cell and RAW, it should be obvious. The question is who their partners should be. Since I don't see another Dudleyz Vs. New Day match happening, have the Dudleyz join the Brothers of Destruction. After Survivor Series, the Dudleyz could feud with Harper & Rowan as well. I predict the Wyatts winning. I see no need, no matter who team with Undertaker and Kane, for the Wyatts to lose. They need to be built strong.

Winners: The Wyatt Family

That's six matches that I've predicted for Survivor Series. I'd say it's a simple card to build up, but all of the matches sound they could be good. For time sake, this will be the end of the column. I'll be back tomorrow or Wednesday for my next Survivor Series breakdown. I should be able to get more details after tonight's RAW.

That's all for now. Thanks for the read, and I will be doing more columns on WNS. Keep your eyes open, and your Unicorn horns high in the sky, folks!
