AJ Styles recently did an interview on The Taz show, where he discussed the potential of a major dream match; if it could ever happen? And if he'll go to NXT. 

On potentially a MAJOR Dream Match:

"I kinda worked with him but I dont think we actually touched in WCW. I'd like to wrestle Rey, Rey Mysterio... I think we could have a pretty cool match and it would be a pretty big match if the two of us, could get that done."

Taz agreed that it would be a HUGE match and asked if there's any chance of it happening. 

"There's a chance. I would imagine you would have to come off the hip with some money for Rey, but it would be fun! It depends where we do it. The problem is he works for AAA and I work for New Japan and New Japan works for CMLL, or works with CMLL, so that's the big dilemma. It would have to be an independent for us to meet."

To which Taz replied

"That would be great, sign me up, I'd love the opportunity to call that just to see you guys do your thing, that's be magic for sure."

On NXT

"I see it on Twitter with people saying AJ should go to NXT, at this point in my career, I'm gonna do what's best for my family."

Taz pointed out that he's in a great place at Ring of Honor, as the Number 1 contender for Jay Lethals ROH World Title and AJ vs Jay Lethal (who are both at the of their game) is one of the best match ups anyone could see. 

Speaking of AJ and great matches, 5 Star Wrestling & Revolution Pro Wrestling (NJPW's UK partner) are teaming up to deliver a potential match of the year candidate between AJ Styles and Zack Sabre Jr (Who WWE.com recently  tipped to be a future NXT star calling him "The best technical wrestler in the world"). The 5 Star Rev Pro event takes place at the York Hall, on January 16th in London.
