At Friday night's WWE NXT live event in Nashville, Tennessee, it appears that Carmella suffered a stinger while competing in a match against Eva Marie.

According to fan reports, the botch reportedly took place after Carmella took a bump to the back of her head after being hit by one of Eva's knees. Eva quickly got the pinfall victory and the match was then stopped. The referee threw up the "X" and motioned to the back of his own head and trainers, including Dr. Chris Amann, quickly came to the ring to tend to Carmella. Carmella was crying, but was assisted out of the ring and appeared to not be too badly hurt.

Eva, in the meantime, was met with fan chants of "please retire."
