British Wrestler Kris Travis Who Defeated Cancer Set To Retire From The Ring

Independant British wrestling star Kris Travis who overcame stomach cancer announced today that he will never wrestle again.

The 31-year-old, from Sheffield, England, was in the finals of TNA's British Boot Camp 2 competition but had to withdraw upon the diagnosis of stomach cancer.

Travis underwent 18 weeks of chemotherapy treatment after having surgery to remove a tumour in his stomach.

He today tweeted the following:

I'm going to put this out there right now..... I won't ever be wrestling ever again. Gutted yes. But I have to accept this. Lots of love. X
