L'ÉQUIPE 21, a nationally broadcasting French sports channel, has announced through a blog running down its new schedule that Ring of Honor Wrestling will begin airing on Friday, September 18th at 9PM. L'ÉQUIPE 21 broadcasts over 40 different sports ranging from tennis and motor cross, to the upcoming Rugby World Cup. This is a significant deal for ROH in international markets as they will now be available to 54% of the French population which is more than 30 million homes on free access television. ROH has previously had TV deals in international markets such as Japan, Italy and the United Kingdom.
