The Undertaker defeated Brock Lesnar via submission at Sunday night's WWE SummerSlam event; however, the victory has been mired in controversy.

Replays following the match showed that Undertaker actually tapped out to Lesnar's Kimura Lock, but the referee did not see this happen, as he was checking Lesnar's shoulders on the mat on the other side. The timekeeper rang the bell, but the referee waved that off. Lesnar was then locked in Undertaker's Hell's Gate submission hold, which he passed out to and which the referee saw.
