Legendary female wrestler Cora Svonsteckik better known as Cora Combs from the Mid-South region in the 1950s and 1960s has passed away over the weekend in Nashville following a battle with pneumonia. She was 92.

Combs was one of the top female draws in her day.

Les Thatcher posted the following on his Facebook page:

"Just got the sad news that my dear friend & one of the great lady wrestlers of all time Cora Combs has passed away at 92. I was blessed to have traveled with her, worked mixed tags, & in general been blessed to share her beautiful personality & sense of humor. I'm sure she will be pulling ribs all over heaven. Go with God my sweet friend. With much love & respect!"
