Paul Heyman made an appearance on the recent edition of Chael Sonnen's podcast, where he made the admission that during his appearance on WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin's recent podcast on the WWE Network, he legitimately caught Austin off-guard when he brought up the idea of Austin facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32.

Heyman stated that without bringing that question up, he wouldn't have been able to sit through an hour-long podcast with Austin. He later stated that there was zero chance of Austin vs. Lesnar taking place at WrestleMania 32, and also said that Austin had a myriad of his own reasons as to why the match wouldn't take place.
