During the latest edition of his podcast, Steve Austin addressed speculation that he has been attempting to build up to a WrestleMania match with Brock Lesnar after he gave a promo at the end of his podcast last week with Paul Heyman on the WWE Network. 

Austin noted that he had no idea what Heyman was going say and went into promo mode because it was the right thing to do for the Steve Austin character.

He said he didn't mean to spin a match or sell a match for his fans. He added he and Lesnar will be doing different things going forward.
