The official WWE website is now reporting on the lower leg injury which Rusev suffered at Tuesday's SmackDown tapings.

He has also been pulled from this weekend's WWE live events in North Carolina where he was scheduled to face John Cena in steel cage matches and replace with Kane.

If he is ruled out of Sunday's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Bray Wyatt is expected to replace him in the Chamber for the vacant Intercontinental Title.
