Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Daniel Bryan suffered a concussion during his match with Sheamus on SmackDown a couple of weeks back and WWE had Bryan working only single matches since.

This was also the "precautionary" reason as to why they pulled him from the WWE European tour after last Tuesday's SmackDown taping in London. WWE was seemingly aware that Bryan was banged and would not have been given the green light to let him compete if he had been diagnosed with a concussion which likely come to light last Tuesday.
