Ring of Honor announced yesterday evening that Japanese legend Jushin "Thunder" Liger would be returning to the promotion for their March 27th Supercard of Honor event in Redwood City, California. Liger's appearance is part of ROH's working relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling. It will be interesting to see if ROH acknowledges Liger as the NWA Jr. Heavyweight Champion, the title he currently holds as ROH had a falling out with the NWA some years ago.

NJPW star Tetsyu Naito was also expected to be announced for Supercard of Honor but now it is unlikely he will be coming as ROH want to save him for their cross promotion shows with New Japan in May and feel that a legend like Liger is enough of an attraction.
