We start with a video recapping NXT Takeover: Rival last week.

We go to a video from William Regal in the back talking about the Championship match. He says the title can change hands on a submission, pin fall, or referee stoppage for a knockout. He says Kevin Owens may think he can do whatever he wants but he can’t. He says tonight Kevin Owens will face Adrian Neville in a non title match.

We are welcomed inside Full Sail University by Rich Brennan, Jason Albert, and Corey Graves. Kevin Owens music hits as he makes his way to the ring with the NXT Championship. Owens has a microphone as the crowd does dueling “Kevin Owens/Sami/Zayn” chants. Owens says it seems a lot of people have an issue with what he did at Takeover and how he won the title. He said those people have no right to be mad because he has hasn’t lied or pretended to be anything that he is not. He said he would fight anyone and everyone to make things better for his family and that’s exactly what he did. He says who he beats and how is irrelevant. He says Sami Zayn is the past and when he you are done with the past you look to the future and that is Finn Balor. Owens says he is well aware Balor is the #1 contender he tells Balor to go to Regal and pick a date and he will be there. But Balor needs to realize what happen to Zayn will happen to him.

The announcers hype the matches on tonight’s show. Rhyno makes his way to the ring as the crowd erupts.

Rhyno vs. Elias Sampson

Rhyno rushes in and quickly hits a belly-to-belly suplex. He hits the gore and gets the three count for the win.

Winner: Rhyno

After the match they recap what we just saw, the announcers plug NXT as the place that not only begins careers but revitalizes careers. In the back Devin Taylor is interviewing Finn Balor. Balor says after the destruction Owens caused at Takeover he probably has a pretty high regard for himself but so does he. Rhyno walks by and he and Balor have a star down.

A commercial airs for Fast Lane

We are back and the Vaudevillians make their way to the ring. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassidy make their way to the ring with Carmella.

Vaudevillians vs. Colin Cassidy and Enzo amore

Enzo and Gotch start in the ring. English hits a cheap shot and Gotch begins to wear Enzo down. Gotch tags English in and English hits a running kick and gets a two count. English hits some kicks and punches and keeps Enzo in the center of the ring. Enzo gets a tag and Cassidy comes in and destroys both men. Cassidy hits a big splash and throws Enzo like a lawn dart and he gets the pin for the win on English.

Winner: Colin Cassidy and Enzo Amore.

After the match Blake & Murphy come on the screen. They say good job but not good enough. They said everyone thought they were a fluke but they proved everyone wrong. They hit on Carmella and say if she wants to leave the sewer rats and come over to some real champions.

In the back Adrian Neville is interviewed and he says he failed to become the #1 contender. He says now he can prioritize what is important to him. He says after tonight Owens will not be able to forget what he does to him.

We see a video with Bayley saying she promises she will win the NXT Woman’s Champion. Another video airs with Becky Lynch she says she would have won the NXT Woman’s Championship if it had not been for Bayley.

Back from the break CK Parker makes his way to the ring. He says he is sick and tired of this he complains he was not on the NXT Takeover Special and he is ending the show he is taking it hostage. He has yellow caution tape and starts to tape off the ring. The screen goes funky and Solomon Crowe is in the ring and destroys CJ Parker. Crowe grabs a microphone and says “now we return to your regularly scheduled broadcast”. The announcers hype the Sami Zayn update as we go to a break.

Back from the break the new NXT Woman’s Champion makes her way to the ring. Her opponent is Blue Pants

Sasha Banks vs. Blue Pants

Sasha tells Blue Pants to get out of her ring but Blue Pants kicks her thru the ropes and to the outside. Sasha gets back in the ring and Blue pants hits a drop toe hold and a roll up for the two count. Sasha gets the advantage and wears Blue Pants down in the center of the ring. Blue pants hits a back slide and gets a two count. Sasha knees Blue pants in the corner she goes for the pin but picks Blue pants up at two. Sasha hits the “Bank Statement” and gets the win.

Winner: Sasha Banks

After the match Sasha says that everyone will have to admit that she is the baddest Diva in NXT.

They show footage of what took place with Sami Zayn after NXT Takeover went off the air last week. We got an update from the Dr. that stooped the match and he talked about Zayns condition as we got to a break.

Back from the break Adrian Neville makes his way to the ring. We see a recap of what happen last time these two men met. Kevin Owens is out next as he comes to the ring.

Kevin Owens vs. Adrian Neville

We start with Owens getting out of the ring but Neville follows and both men get back in the ring. Neville hits a huge kick but Owens picks him up and hits a huge gut buster then a senton. Owens beats Neville down in the ring and hits a huge chop in the corner. Owens continues to have the upper hand as he continues the assault in the center of the ring. Owens goes for a pin but only gets a two count. The action continues with Owens just destroying Neville with kicks, clotheslines, and punches & chops. Owens uses a reverse chin lock to wear Neville down. Neville gets to his feet and fights back as Owens throws him over the top rope to the outside as we go to a break.

Back from the break both men are in the ring and Owens continues the attack on Neville. Owens puts Neville back into the chin lock and wears him down. Neville fights back but Owens catches him, Owens goes to hit a move but Neville turns it into a DDT. Neville hits a boot to the head and hits some chops then a cross body. Neville hits a huge kick to the head as Owens rolls to the outside. Neville hits a moonsault to the outside onto Owens. Neville throws Owens back into the ring and hits some kicks to the chest of Owens. Neville hits a springboard drop kick and gets a two count as Owens rolls out of the ring again. Neville hits a running kick of the apron onto Owens outside the ring then hits a 450 splash onto Owens outside the ring. Neville rolls Owens back in and gets a two count. Neville goes for a suplex but Owens hits an elbow. Neville hits a German suplex then another and gets a two count. Neville hits a huge uppercut but Owens connects with an elbow and takes Neville down in the corner. Neville hits a huge kick then a reverse hurricanrana and gets a two count. Neville goes to the top and misses the “Red Arrow” and Owens hits the power bomb for the win.

Winner: Kevin Owens

After the match they recap what we just saw. Owens celebrates in the ring standing over Neville as we go off the air.
