Rey Mysterio and WWE are said to be almost done and Rey will soon be granted his release after being with the company since 2002 according to PWInsider.

Mysterio reportedly already has a number of new wrestling deals on the table and we are just waiting for official announcements.

It's highly likely that one of those deals will see Rey wrestle for Lucha Underground which airs on El Rey Network.
