Last Man Standing Match At No Mercy, New World Champion Crowned, More

Posted By: Wrestling-Radio.com on Sep 17, 2007

- Following their match at tonight’s Unforgiven pay-per-view, John â€"Bradshaw” Layfield announced that Randy Orton would face John Cena for the WWE Championship in a Last Man Standing Match at next month’s No Mercy pay-per-view. JBL made the announcement after Coachman made the match in a backstage segment with John Cena’s father and John Cena. Coachman, however, did not specify when the match would take place. According to JBL, the match will be at No Mercy.

- If you missed tonight’s Unforgiven pay-per-view, a new World Heavyweight Champion was crowned. Batista defeated The Great Khali and Rey Mysterio in their triple threat match to win the World Heavyweight Championship for the third time in his career.
