Former three-time WWE World Champion Rey Mysterio met with WWE Chairman Mr. Vince McMahon last week to discuss Mysterio's future with the company. McMahon gave Mysterio an offer to return to WWE programming and reportedly instructed WWE Creative to come up with ideas for Mysterio's return.

However, it's being reported that Mysterio declined the offer and made it clear that he wants to move on from wrestling and pursue other interests, possibly an acting career.

Mysterio's contract with WWE is set to expire next spring and as of right now all signs point to Mysterio being gone from WWE after that.
