John Cena says last night two men went through hell for a single opportunity to face the beast and to be the best. Last night, he defeated Randy Orton and earned the opportunity to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. And while Lesnar is sitting at home thinking he's a champiom, Cena is here every night fighting like a champion and next time Lesnar decides to come back he will lose. Cena says tonight, the self proclaimed future of WWE will get a wake up call and  he's often said the future goes through him but tonight he goes through the future. Stephanie McMahon comes out and congratulates Cena on his victory last night and can't wait for tonight's main event against the standard bearer of WWE Seth Rollins. But she also can't wait to for Survivor Series where they will have a traditional survivor series match (second WWE Network plug). Stephanie says she has a proposition for Cena and he panders to the crowd to try and get them to cheer for him. Cena says he's listening to the people. Stephanie asks if he hears the people say "Cena Sucks" she says she doesn't want to offend him she's trying to talk him into trying to do what's best for business. Stephanie says the people don't matter. What they care about is seeing Cena on the mat, tearing himself apart and leaving it all on the line and blood and guts and people tearing each other apart. Something he does every single night for their appreciation and asks why? She says it doesn't have to be this hard and asks Cena to join The Authority where he will be loved and appreciated. Stephanie says in the past Lesnar's beat Cena and beat him up but The Authority could offer him help and The Authority could give him the power he deserves and says he deserves the accolades and be a part of their family. Cena says what he deserves is to tell the people every night how much he loves to do this and they show up every Monday night because they are all in this together and the people aren't here for him, he's here for them. Stephanie asks him to ensure his legacy because when he loses people won't remember John Cena. Cena says they'll remember him as a low life punk and a sell out and tells Stephanie hell no. Triple H says Cena's been here for 10 years but he's been here for 20 years and every year it gets harder and says Cena's hanging by a thread. And Cena knows what Triple H knows. Cena can't fight the future. But it doesn't have to be as hard as it is right now or how hard it's going to get. Cena can do the right thing and says he knows Cena is smart but maybe this conversation isn't the right thing for him. Maybe he has to prove it to him and tells Cena while he fights The Authority they are going to use Cena as an example and challenges Cena to find anyone in the locker room who will support him and Cena can't fight the future because The Authority controls the future and tells Cena to smarten up to the fact that The Authority always wins.
