It was reported yesterday by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that TNA officials had made an offer to former WWE Superstar CM Punk to join the company as a top tier talent recently.

However, a conflicting report from PWInsider surfaced today in which they note the TNA sources they spoke to say there is no truth to the report on Punk and no offer was made.

In addition, PWInsider is also reporting that Punk, who recently attended an OVW event did not go to the locker room, thus making any reports of wrestlers being told not to approach him for conversation untrue. He reportedly went straight to OVW owner Danny Davis' office.

Conflicting reports of this nature are always hard to clarify with both leading sources believing they have the have all the information, so take them for what they are worth.
