Dean Ambrose made his return to WWE at Sunday night's Night of Champions event after Seth Rollins issued an "open challenge" to face any WWE Superstar in a match due to Roman Reigns being unable to compete after being forced to undergo emergency hernia surgery on Saturday.

Ambrose and Rollins fought out into the crowd and took out security when they tried stopping him by order of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The two then continued to brawl around the arena before Ambrose was finally subdued by security.

As previously reported, Ambrose took time off to film the upcoming WWE Studios release Lockdown, his exit coming after a storyline injury at the hands of Rollins.
