In yet another update on the Alberto Del Rio/Cody Barbierri situation, Del Rio is said to have sympathy from a lot of the wrestlers backstage because Cody Barbierri is not very well-liked. His recent issue with Del Rio apparently is not the first time that he was rubbed some of the wrestlers the wrong way. One source has even described Barbierri as being "a jerkoff who was very arrogant."

However, that same source also noted that Barbierri is smart enough to not get in trouble with WWE management and that he's usually been able to fly under the radar despite the fact that he has been known to be arrogant to the wrestlers.

One thing that Barbierri has going for him is the fact that certain WWE officials, including Stephanie McMahon, view him as being an important part of WWE's social media department.
