WWE WrestleMania Venue Trump Plaza Announces Closure

A piece of wrestling history, Trump Plaza in Atlantic City will be closing it's doors in mid-September according to FoxNews.com.

"Trump Entertainment Resorts told The Associated Press that no final decision has been made on the Boardwalk casino. But the company said it expects the casino to close its doors Sept. 16."

Trump Plaza is the latest in a number of casinos that will be leaving the AC Boardwalk. The casino was a sponsor for WWE WrestleMania 4 and 5 in 1988 and 1989.

The relationship between WWE and Trump Entertainment was the beginning of a successful business relationship between Donald Trump and Vince McMahon, leading to Trumps induction into the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame.
