5 Star Wrestling has released the details behind Custom AI Settings.

Below are the details: 

1. IT HAS A CUNNING PLAN!
At the beginning of the match, the AI will create a set of END GAME, LONG TERM and IMMEDIATE goals based on: his own abilities, his opponents abilities, both characters vital stats and the match type they are in. Using that data it will formulate a strategy for hitting those goals then work extremely hard to achieve them. The end result is an AI that wrestles with purpose.

2. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE CHARACTER!
Not everyone is as strategic as Curtis Angel. Some care more about show-boating and putting on high-spots than going for the best possible route to the finish line. Each wrestler has around 40 uniquely weighted actions that factor into their decision making process. You won't see Iceberg on the top rope much but Gregg Hearty loves to fly, Jonny Miavia will stand face-to-face with you and taunt like a man, where as “Raging” Andy Organ will cheat if he's losing, then stand over your body and admire his own greatness.

3. MOOD SWINGS
The AI for each character has different personalities that you can choose from. Fancy a challenge? Set the personality to "EFFICIENT" and notice that every move your opponent makes will be designed to achieve their END goal in the fastest possible time. Pick "STUBBORN" and you’ll see a terminator style approach where the AI forms gets a target in mind and stops at nothing until they have hit it. Or maybe you have put 100 hours in and feel like you’ve got a good handle on the AI? Change their personality to “UNPREDICTABLE" and anything can happen. The AI might suddenly decide he wants to play über defensively or abandon grapples all together in favour of strikes. Either way, it’s going to be a different kind of match than you’re used to.
