There's been a lot of speculation about who will leave the Money in the Bank pay-per-view as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. There was some talk that whoever it would be would probably be a heel so they could feud with Daniel Bryan when he returns. However, this may not turn out to be the case after all, or at least not the heel part of it.
As of right now, 14-time WWE World Champion John Cena is expected to leave Money in the Bank as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, which would make him a 15-time World Champion overall.
Plans could certainly change between now and Money in the Bank, but as of right now, John Cena looks to be the leading candidate to leave the PPV as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
