Big Update On Ric Flair's Future With WWE

As was reported a few weeks ago, WWE would like for Ric Flair to return to television as at least a semi-regular performer, or possibly even full-time. Flair was scheduled to undergo a physical examination in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania some time this week under the watch of Dr. Joseph Maroon. It's uncertain which day Flair was scheduled to go.

Regarding what he might do in WWE, there is some talk of reuniting him with The Miz to help boost The Miz up to being a top performer again, most likely as a babyface. But there are some who feel that The Miz's best days are already behind him and that putting Flair with him again would just be a waste of Flair's time.

There is also some talk of having Flair manage The Shield, as Flair endorsed them on Raw a number of weeks ago.

Flair himself reportedly has an interest in former World Champion Dolph Ziggler. It's also known that Flair prefers to work as a heel, although WWE officials would like for him to return as a babyface.
