Why Drake Younger Is Working as a NXT Referee?

The reason indy star Drake Younger recently started working as a WWE NXT as a referee, using his real name Drake Wuertz is because WWE are not interested in cruiserweight sized talent as they already have enough in their developmental system. 

WWE agreed that Drake was able to transition to refereeing.
