As previously reported, there was a lot of talk going around backstage that Dave Batista would be taking some time off from WWE after tonight's Extreme Rules pay-per-view. However, a new report from PWInsider.com says that Batista might stick around until after the next PPV, which is Payback.

It was previously reported that WWE officials had Batista penciled in to face Daniel Bryan at Payback but Batista turned them down. It is possible that they may have convinced him to stick around for Payback.
