As previously reported, WWE does still plan on breaking up The Shield by having Roman Reigns break out as a top babyface star while Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins will most likely be kept together as a heel tag team.

Meanwhile, the reason why The Shield has turned babyface is because The New Age Outlaws requested to work with them before The Shield splits up, and also because it will help build up Roman Reigns' push.

Look for Rollins and Ambrose to eventually turn on Reigns.
