Ricardo Rodriguez made his return to WWE television on Monday night's edition of RAW after being involved in an angle with World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio back on August 5th which saw Rodriguez get attacked following Del Rio's defeat at the hands of Rob Van Dam in a non-title match.

Rodriguez told Del Rio he was happy that he no longer had to stand at his side and represent him, but that he was proud to be representing someone new. That "someone new" turned out to be Rob Van Dam, who attacked Del Rio before Del Rio was able to escape from the ring.
