WWE Summerslam 2013 Results (8/18/13) Los Angeles, California

US Title Match: RVD vs Dean Ambrose

Side headlock into an irish whip and shoulderblock to Ambrose. Neckbreaker by Ambrose to RVD. Dropkick to RVD. Ambrose with a chinlock and RVD fires back with a clothesline. Crossbody by RVD. Powerslam by RVD and the split leg moonsaultonto Ambrose. RVD setting up for the Five Star Frog Splash but Reigns and Rollins make their way through the crowd. Big Show and Henry come out to even things up. Ambrose slammed on the floor, RVD hangs Ambrose over the barricade landing a legdrop across the back. Somersault from the top rope by RVD and a slam. Ambrose with a spinebuster. Rolling Thunder by RVD. Five Star Frog Splash and Reigns spears RVD as the referee calls for the bell

Kane unloading on Wyatt and a right hand sends Wyatt to the mat as the flames shoot up around the ring. Big boot by Wyatt and a hedbutt to Kane. Suplex blocked by Kane and Kane lands a suplex of his own. Snapmare to Wyatt misses the kick to the face. Kane misses with the clothesline in the corner. Wyatt lands his own clothesline. Big boot to Wyatt. Sidewalk slam by Kane. Wyatt with a clothesline. Two chokeslams to Wyatt. Harper and Rowan cover the flames and make their way into the ring and it’s a two on one attack on Kane. Wyatt delivers The Kiss Good Night for the three count

Post Match: Rowan and Harper drag Kane in front of Wyatt in his rocking chair. He puts Kane on top of one part of the ring steps and then they drop the other part of the steps on Kane’s head. Wyatt lights the lantern, the lights go out and Wyatt leads Harper and Rowan to the back with Kane

Cody Rhodes vs Damien Sandow

Rhodes hits a back drop on Sandow. Rhodes with a gourdbuster to Sandow.  Sandow sends Rhodes to the apron and then he connects with a drop kick to the legs and Cody falls to the floor. Sandow with forearms to the lower back followed by a suplex. backs Sandow into the corner to get out of the hold. Sandow with a forearm to the back. Sandow escapes Cross Rhodes with a snap mare. Sandow with a side Russian leg sweep and he sets up for the Cobito Acquiet. Sandow with forearms to the back followed by a knee. Sandow with a modified Cloverleaf but Cody escapes. Sandow with a forearm to the back of the neck and then he rubs Cody’s face in the mat. Sandow with boots to the head and then he goes to the turnbuckles. Cody with a punch to the midsection and Cody with head butts to Sandow on the turnbuckles. Cody with a muscle buster. Clothesline and back elbow by Rhodes. Rhodes with the drop down uppercut but Rhodes is sent over the top rope. Cody lands on the apron and then he hits a springboard drop kick. Cody grabs Sandow and he goes for the kick to the abdomen. Sandow avoids the Beautiful Disaster and Sandow sends Rhodes into the ropes and then he hits a neck breaker for a near fall. Sandow tries for a sunset flip but Rhodes drops down and gets a near fall. Cody hits Beautiful Disaster but he can only get a two count. Rhodes charges into the corner and hits the ring post when Sandow moves. Sandow with a rollup for a near fall. Cody escapes a slam attempt and Rhodes tries for an O’Connor Roll but Sandow holds on to the ropes. Rhodes hits Cross Rhodes for the three count

World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio vs Christian

They lock up and Del Rio backs Christian into the corner and Del Rio with a clean break. Del Rio with a kick to the leg and punches. Del Rio with a side head lock and Del Rio holds on when Christian tries to send him off the ropes. Del Rio with a shoulder tackle. Christian with punches and then he sends Del Rio over the top rope to the floor. Christian with a baseball slide but Del Rio moves. Del Rio tries to punch Christian when Christian gets back on the apron but Del Rio misses. Christian drops Del Rio against the top rope. Christian goes up top but Del Rio escapes and crotches Christian. Del Rio with a step up enzuigiri and Christian is in the tree of woe. Del Rio with a running kick to the left shoulder. Del Rio with a hammer lock and he sends Christian shoulder first into the ringside barrier. Del Rio gets a near fall when they return to the ring. Del Rio with an arm bar. Christian with punches and kicks. Del Rio sends Christian into the air and then Del Rio with a flying Yakuza kick and he wraps the left arm in the ropes. Del Rio goes up top with a double stomp to the arm while Christian was hanging on the middle rope. Del Rio gets a near fall. Del Rio with a drop kick to the arm. Del Rio wraps the arm in the ropes again. Del Rio goes for a splash in the ropes and Christian moves. Del Rio hits the floor hard and he is down. Christian with a cross body from the turnbuckles onto Del Rio on the floor. Both men struggle to get back into the ring but they are able to get back inside. Del Rio with an arm wringer to the mat and then he kicks Christian in the head. Del Rio sees blood from his nose and he slaps Christian. Del Rio tries for a knee off the turnbuckles but he hits Christian’s boot. Christian with a punch and he goes to the turnbuckles for a missile drop kick. Christian with punches in the corner. Christian goes up top and Del Rio tries for a step up enzuigiri and Christian ducks. Christian with a cross body for a near fall. Del Rio with forearms to the back but Christian lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Del Rio escapes a Killswitch but Del Rio with a lungblower when Christian goes to the turnbuckles and Del Rio gets a near fall. Del Rio with a kick to the back. Christian with an inside cradle for a near fall. Del Rio with an enzuigiri in the corner for a near fall. Del Rio goes to the turnbuckles for a back senton but Christian moves. Christian goes to the turnbuckles for the back elbow and he connects. Del Rio runs Christian into the turnbuckles and the referee warns Alberto. Alberto goes for a superplex but Christian tries to counter with a sunset flip power bomb. Del Rio punches Christian but Christian with a drop kick to Del Rio on the turnbuckles. Christian with a super rana and he gets a near fall. Christian tries for the spear but Del Rio with a drop kick. Del Rio gets a near fall. Del Rio signals for the Cross Arm Breaker. Christian avoids the float over and then Christian with a drop toe hold that sends Del Rio into the ropes. Christian with an uppercut on the floor. Del Rio with a super kick for a near fall. Del Rio drops the knee pad and he goes for the super kick but Christian moves. Christian with a rollup for a near fall. Christian with a spear but he cannot cover due to his shoulder. Del Rio locks in the cross arm breaker and Christian taps out.

Brie Bella vs Natalya

Brie with a side headlock on Natalya. A punch by Natalya into a side headlock. Series of hip tosses blocked and an exchange of slaps. Natalya looking for the sharpshooter but Brie slides out to the floor. Natalya throws her back in. Brie sends Natalya to the floor and a dropkick to Natalya. Brie with a stomp to the head. Legdrop onto Natalya. Chinlock by Brie and Natalya breaks out of it. Shoulder tackles in the corner and a clothesline to Natalya. Natalya fires back and looking  for the sharpshooter as Brie crawls over to the ropes and Brie breaks the hold. A brawl breaks out on the outside between The Funkadactyls and Nikki & Eva Maria. Brie screaming for Natalya to give up. Natalya picks Brie up on her shoulder, Brie slides down the back getting a near fall. Alabama Slam by Natalya and Natalya has the sharpshooter locked in forcing Brie to tap out

Backstage: Ryback is bullying a caterer telling him the soup's cold and it sucks and dumps soup on him.

Brock Lesnar vs CM Punk

Lesnar controlling most of the match, Punk introduces the ring steps after a suicide dive to the outside. Lesnar nails Punk with the steps, the announce table gets dismantled as Lesnar throws it down on Punk and a double stomp on Punk. Punk off the top rope gets caught by Lesnar. Fallaway slam by Lesnar. Bear hug by Lesnar trying to wear Punk down. Punk bites Lesnar ear, delivering a flurry of punches. Punk off the top rope hits the double axehandle. Two high running knees to Lesnar, a third and Lesnar catches him, Punk going for the GTS but Lesnar locks the Kimura in. Punk counters into the triangle,running powerbomb by Lesnar and a series of suplexes to Punk.  Lesnar grabbing a steel chair and Punk to the top rope, jumps off but Lesnar holds the chair up as Punk hits the chair. Punk takes the chair delivering chair shot after chair shot to Lesnar. Lesnar stops one of the shots and goes for one of his own but Punk hits a low blow. Punk off the top rope bringing the chair down on Lesnar’s face. Punk delivering chair shots but Heyman stops him. Punk grabs Heyman and Lesnar from behind looking for an F5. Punk holds on and counters hitting a GTS. Punk turns his attention to Heyman. Punk chases him around the ring and back inside as Lesnar intercepts Punk going for an F5. Punk counters into a DDT and then locks in the Anaconda Vise. Heyman brings a chair into the ring, Punk stops him and punches him locking the Anaconda Vise on Heyman. Lesnar brings the chair down on Punk. Lesnar picks Punk up and drills him with an F5 on the chair for the three count

Dolph Ziggler & Kaitlyn vs Big E. Langston & AJ

Dropkick by Ziggler. Belly to belly suplex by Langston. Splash off the irish whip by Langston locks Ziggler in an abdominal stretch. Another dropkick to Langston. Kaitlyn with a clothesline to AJand a backbreaker. Spinning kick by AJ.  Snapmare by AJ.  AJ with an elbow off the irish whip. Neckbreaker to Kaitlyn.  Submission hold by AJ, Kaitlyn gets out of it. AJ with a dropkick. AJ misses with a spinning kick and Kaitlyn with a shoulder tackle. Ziggler with a series of elbowdrops. Ziggler misses with the Famouser and Langston with a backbreaker. Langston hits the ring post. AJ distracting Ziggler and Kaitlyn spears AJ. Langston with a clothesline, picks Langston up for the Big Ending. Ziggler counters and hits the ZigZag for the three count

WWE Championship: John Cena versus Daniel Bryan (w/Triple H as Special Guest Referee)

They lock up and Cena with a side head lock take down. Bryan gets back to his feet. They go for a Greco Roman knuckle lock and Cena takes Bryan to the mat and he gets a few near falls. Bryan with a bridge and Cena puts his weight on Bryan. Bryan with a monkey flip and he goes for the Yes Lock but Cena goes to the floor. Cena tells the doctor something about his elbow. Cena gets back into the ring and he applies a side head lock and take down. Cena catches Bryan on a leap frog attempt and Cena with a jackknife cover for a series of near falls. Bryan with a bridge and a back slide for a near fall. Bryan with a dragon screw leg whip. Bryan sets up for the surfboard but Cena escapes. Cena gets Bryan on his shoulders but Bryan goes to the apron. Cena with a shoulder tackle and Bryan goes off the apron and hits the announce table. Bryan with an Irish whip that sends Cena into the ring steps. Cena with a suplex off the ring steps to the floor. Cena rolls Bryan back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Cena waits for Bryan to get up and he punches Bryan. Cena with a hard Irish whip to Bryan. Cena with a kick to Bryan. Cena with a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Cena with a reverse chin lock. Bryan with elbows and forearms. Bryan with kicks of Yes in the corner. Cena with a knee to the midsection and Irish whip but Bryan flips over Cena and he hits the flying clothesline. Bryan with kicks to the chest. Bryan misses a round kick and Cena with the two flying shoulder tackles followed by the Blue Thunder Bomb. Bryan kicks Cena before he can do the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Bryan kicks Cena away. Cena with another Blue Thunder Bomb followed by the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena waits for Bryan to get up and Cena with an Attitude Adjustment but Bryan lands on his feet. Bryan with boots to Cena and he goes to the turnbuckles for a missile drop kick and Bryan gets a near fall. Bryan with kicks to the shoulder and he wants Cena to get up so he can kick him some more. Bryan continues to work on the elbow. Bryan with more kicks to the shoulder. Cena with a drop toe hold but Bryan counters and he applies an STF. Cena tries to make his way to the ropes but Bryan pulls Cena into the center of the ring and he hits a German suplex for a near fall. Bryan with another German suplex and bridge for another near fall. Bryan tries for a third one but Cena blocks it. Cena tries for an Attitude Adjustment but Bryan gets Cena to the mat with the Yes Lock. Cena tries to get out of the hold and he does. Bryan with a guillotine choke on Bryan. Cena gets back to his feet and he runs Bryan into the turnbuckles but Bryan holds on to the guillotine. Cena with a suplex that sends Bryan into the turnbuckles to get out of the hold. Cena with an Attitude Adjustment but Bryan kicks out. Cena goes up top and Bryan stops him. Cena sends him back to the mat. Bryan with a forearm and Cena sends Bryan back to the mat. Bryan with a drop kick and it staggers Cena on the turnbuckles. Cena sets for a superplex and Bryan hangs from the turnbuckles and he powers himself up. Bryan goes up top for a diving head butt and he hits it but Cena kicks out at two. Cena goes to the floor and Bryan sets for a suicide dive but Cena with an elbow to Bryan. Cena goes up top and hits the Rocker Dropper but Bryan kicks out at two. Cena gets Bryan and he puts him on the top turnbuckle. Cena sets for a super Attitude Adjustment but Bryan with elbows to the head. Bryan tries for a super rana but Cena blocks it and he drops Bryan on the mat and applies the STF. Cena turns it into a modified sleeper but Bryan will not quit. Bryan with the Yes Lock on Cena. Cena gets to the ropes and Bryan has to release the hold and he does so well before five. Cena says that he is okay. Bryan sets for the running drop kick and he connects the first time. He hits it a second time but Cena with a clothesline to stop the third drop kick attempt. Cena with punches and Bryan with forearms. They throw in some kicks as well. Each man goes for a cross body but they collide and go down. They struggle to get back to their feet. Cena slaps Bryan and Bryan slaps Cena. They go back and forth with slaps. Bryan with a flurry of kicks but Cena with a kick. Bryan tries to flip over Cena but Cena catches him and tries for an Attitude Adjustment but Bryan counters with a DDT.Bryan goes up top again for the diving head butt, but Cena catches Bryan and Cena gets Bryan on his shoulders. Bryan counters with a small package. Bryan with a kick to the head. Bryan with a flying knee to the head for the three count.

Post Match: Bryan celebrates his victory. Bryan and Cena say something to each other and they shake hands. Cena shakes Hunter’s hand and he leaves the ring. Hunter raises Bryan’s hand in victory and shakes his hand. The confetti flies in the Staples Center. Pyro goes off on the stage while Daniel continues his celebration. Randy Orton’s music plays and he walks to the ring with the briefcase. Orton thinks about it and holds the case over his head. Bryan wants him to come into the ring to cash in, but Orton turns around and walks up the ramp. Bryan starts a yes chant. Hunter with a pedigree to Bryan and Orton makes his way to the ring. Orton hands Hunter the briefcase,
