Although there was some talk that The Shield might be left off of this year's SummerSlam pay-per-view, the latest report coming out is that there are plans for the pre-show to somehow lead to them being featured on the main card.

There are rumblings that something will happen during the Dean Ambrose vs. Rob Van Dam United States Title match that could lead to either a six-man tag or a regular four-man tag for the WWE Tag Team Titles involving Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns going against Mark Henry and The Big Show.

However it plays out, as of right now, it looks like The Shield will indeed be featured at SummerSlam.
