Rob Van Dam released an audio recording to his website earlier today, insisting he is happy to be back with WWE.

He also noted people would occasionally stop him in the street, telling him "Welcome home" and always replied with "it's good to be home."Van Dam then went on to praise WWE for being the top company all these years, stating that no one grabs the attention of the wrestling audience quite like they do.

Van Dam admitted he feels he has stood the test of time and remains largely proud of his return.

Strangely, during the audio recording, Van Dam said that fans would often tell him how great his performances have been bettered since his return to WWE, RVD gave credit to "well rounded performers" as opposed to rivals, TNA, Van Dam refused to name TNA during the recording.
