Alberto Del Rio's personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez made his return to WWE programming tonight on Monday Night Raw, accompanying the World Heavyweight Champion Del Rio in his bout against Rob Van Dam.

Rodriguez placed the bucket in the corner for Del Rio to throw Van Dam into it, but Van Dam reversed it and ended up pinning the World Champion. This prompted Del Rio to turn on his ring announcer.

On television it was explained that Rodriguez had returned from a "serious injury", but as most are already aware, he was actually suspended by WWE in real life for his first violation of their Wellness Policy.
