-- Sami Callihan has been pulled from an upcoming Japan tournament later this month after he has reportedly signed a WWE contract.

The announcement he was being pulled from the tournament was made on the Big Japan Pro Wrestling website.   The announcement noted that he was signing with WWE, which could be premature at this point, as Callihan underwent the pre-signing medical tests last week.   He would have to pass all medical tests in order to sign a deal.

Callihan is still scheduled for the main event of Pro Wrestling Guerilla's next show on June 15th in Reseda, CA. He'll face PWG Champion Adam Cole in a 60 minute Iron Man match.
