On last night's episode of TNA Impact Wrestling live on Spike TV, "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe defeated Mr. Ken Anderson for the vacant TNA Television Championship after Anderson passed out while locked in Joe's Rear Naked Choke submission hold.

This makes Samoa Joe both a Triple Crown Champion and now one of only three TNA Grand Slam Champions. The TNA Triple Crown consists of the Tag Team, X Division, and World Heavyweight Championships, whereas a TNA Grand Slam Champion is a competitor who has held all of TNA's Championships, meaning the Tag Team, X Division, Television, and World Heavyweight Championships.

"The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles was the first TNA Grand Slam Champion, followed by "The Monster" Abyss and now Samoa Joe.
