The York Daily News reports that Ric Flair was the one who called the police wife Jacqueline Bains Beems following an altercation in which Beems assaulted Flair. Flair reportedly wanted protection from his wife who was said to be irate.  In 2010, Beems was  arrested for punching Flair in the face at their home.
