On this day - April 17, 1958 Kevin Wacholz better known to fans as Nailz in the WWF and Kevin Kelly in AWA is born.

Wacholz started in the AWA in 1982 as Kevin Kelly a mid-card babyface. By 1986, he became a top heel in the ogranization challenging for the AWA World Heavyweight Championship. By then he was using the nickname "Mr. Magniificent" Kevin Kelly.

By 1987, he was issuing armwrestling challenges and being managed by Sherri Martel. He entered into a feud with Wildfire Tommy Rich who answered one of his challenges on an edition of AWA Wrestling on ESPN. Kelly had the match but Martel interfered and Kelly lost. Martel paid for it though when Rich tore off her dress.

Martel was replaced by Madusa and teamed with Nick Kiniski. HE left in 1991 and surfaced in WWF in 1992 as an inmate who claims to have been brutalized by Big Boss Man
