Welcome to WWE Raw and this week we are live from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Wells Fargo Arena. And we kick things off with

Justin Roberts announces WWE Champion CM Punk and Punk comes out to the ring and we re-cap the events from last Monday night when Chris Jericho announced to the world that the reason why CM Punk is straight edge is because his father was an alcoholic. Punk lets everyone know Chris Jericho is not here tonight which shows what kind of man he is but at the end of the day that’s a gift because Jericho pissed him off. Punk reminds everyone of what Jericho said last week and Punk said it’s no secret but it’s not Jericho’s story to tell and not his business. It’s not the way he said it but its that he said it in front of the world. Punk says there’s not a person in the world that’s not been affected by the negative diseases of alcohol. He wants to make light of a serious subject all to get inside Punk’s head and under his skin to gain some advantage at Wrestlemania. And now Chris Jericho says he’s destined to drink. Punk says it backfired on Jericho because now the demons are in Punk’s DNA and at Wrestlemania he will unleash a monster. Punk finishes the story saying that his father worked hard to overcome his demons and he’s proud of his father and proud to be straight edge. Punk calls Jericho an obstacle and says at Wrestlemania Jericho is Punk’s obstacle and he will go through Jericho to prove once and for all that he is The Best In The World. Chris Jericho then appears on the TitanTron via satellite saying he didn’t think it was right to be here in person. He says he was out of line last week and apologizes. He says he never should have brought it up, he crossed the line and apologized again and promised never to say anything about Punk’s father again but he says he found out about Punk’s sister and her substance abuse. He calls Punk’s father an alcoholic, his sister a drug addict and tells Punk he will end up just like them. The good news is that it can be overcome. But the bad news is when Chris Jericho beats Punk to become the new WWE Champion at Wrestlemania, that’s something Punk will never overcome. Punk went to say something but the mic got cut off

Big Show vs Kane

Cody Rhodes comes out to do commentary on the first match of tonight’s Raw and we go to a video package highlighting Big Show’s embarrassing moments. Kane and Show lock up and Show delivers body shots and whips Kane in the corner. Kane with a throat thrust and now both Kane and Show have each other by the throat and a throat thrust by Kane. Show with a spear and Rhodes on the apron but Show knocks him to the floor. Show on the top rope, Kane with a chokeslam and the cover by Kane for the three count.

The winner of the match: Kane!!!!

Cody Rhodes slides into the ring and hits the Beautiful Disaster on Show. Rhodes slides back out and grabs a pair of handcuffs. Rhodes handcuffs Show to the ropes and now Rhodes back in and he puts a pair of boxing gloves on and starts punching away at Show

We’re back and we re-cap the closing moments of the Show-Kane match in which Cody Rhodes attacked Show after the match

David Otunga (w/ John Laurinaitis) vs Santino Marella (w/ Teddy Long)

Marella and Otunga have a pre-match posedown. Marella pulls a muscle and Otunga attacks Marella ramming his head into the turnbuckle. Slam by Otunga countered by Marella. Otunga off the ropes and a hiptoss by Marella. The diving headbutt by Santino. Laurinaitis interferes and throws his phone to Otunga. Long gets in Laurinaitis’ face. Marella, stomps on Laurinaitis’ phone and runs into a spinebuster by Otunga. Otunga covers Marella for the three count

The winner of the match: David Otunga

Laurinaitis gets in Teddy Long’s face and Long slaps him and runs to the safety of the ramp before Laurinaitis can get his hands on him.

We’re back and we see a promo for the arrival of a new superstar named Lord Tensai.

The Rock appears on the Titantron  standing in front of the Rocky Balboa statue and says Philadelphia is the city of ass kickers. He says at 12 years old The Rock was dreaming of becoming The Greatest Of All Time and a year later he was watching Wrestlemania 1 and Hulk Hogan. Then at Wrestlemania 6 he was watching The Ultimate Warrior. Years later he headlined his very first Wrestlemania as WWE Champion against Stone Cold Steve Austin and Austin stunned him and pinned him 1 2 3. That night he made two vows. 1 Never to fight a man in jean shorts. 2 he was going to continue the dream of a 12 year old child. Rock said he can see John Cena and when he wants some he’ll come get some. But that’s 13 days away, tonight he’s going to drive to the arena and step into the ring and deliver a message to John Cena. Rock then says if Cena doesn’t get the message he’s going to drive to Pat’s and get a cheeseburger and shove it up John Cena’s ass and then ran down catchphrases from Randy Savage, Ric Flair, and Mick Foley. And in the spirit of Rocky Balboa at Wrestlemania when he beats John Cena he will fulfill the dreams of that 12 year old boy

Zack Ryder vs Daniel Bryan

We see footage from the Ryder Rally

Ryder and Bryan lock up. Hammerlock by Ryder countered by Bryan. Side headlock by Ryder, Irish whip by Ryder and Bryan knocks him down. Kick by Bryan and a sling shot on the bottom rope. 2 count only. Reverse chinlock and Ryder fights back, whip in the corner and Bryan catches the elbow. Ryder with the Broski Boot. Ryder sets up for the Rough Ryder, Bryan counters and locks in the LeBell Lock and Ryder taps out.

The winner of the match: Daniel Bryan!!!!

John cena vs Mark Henry

Henry and Cena lock up and Henry powers Cena to the mat.  Side headlock by Cena and Henry again powers Cena to the outside. Cena off the ropes and shoulderblock by Henry. Henry beating Cena down and delivers a headbutt. Henry with a right and a kick. Henry picks Cena up and he tosses Cena to the outside. Henry outside, and a forearm across the chest. Henry kicking Cena and tosses him into the barricade

Back in the ring and test of strength and a clothesline by Henry. Squash by Henry and only a 2 count. Henry choking Cena in the corner, irish whip across the ring and a big splash in the corner. Henry goes for another splash but Cena sidesteps and delivers a side suplex. Cena off the ropes, five knuckle shuffle. Cena picks Henry up but Henry counters, clothesline, but Cena ducks, Cena off the ropes, Henry catches him set to deliver world’s strongest slam, Cena counters into the AA and the cover and 3 count

The Rock’s music hits and out comes The Great One. Rock enters the ring and delivers a Rock Bottom to Mark Henry and stares down John Cena before leaving

Sheamus vs Miz

Miz is in the ring and talks about King Kong Bundy’s matches at Wrestlemanias past and being the biggest drop off until now. Miz issued an open challenge and invited John Laurinaitis to watch what he does to his opponent and wants to be part of Team Laurinaitis

Miz and Sheamus lock up and Sheamus overpowers Miz. Miz tries to fight back, comes off the ropes but Sheamus clobbers him.  Sheamus picks Miz up over his shoulders and a roll over. Miz fights back and neckbreaker but Sheamus kicks out at 1. Miz choking Sheamus out on the ropes and putting the boots to him. Off the ropes, kick to Sheamus and cover. Reverse chinlock by Miz. Sheamus fighting out and Sheamus whips Miz in the corner and a clothesline by Sheamus. Sheamus puts the boots to Miz. Sheamus picks Miz up and slams him. Brogue Kick but Sheamus misses. Sheamus goes for it again and this time connects. Three count

Josh Matthews introduces Randy Orton and out comes The Viper. Josh says last week it became official at Wrestlemania it’ll be Kane vs Randy Orton and Matthews asks how Orton plans on beating Kane but Orton says the question is how does Orton plan on beating Kane. The only reason we’re talking about this match is because he beat Kane last summer and he became human. Now, Orton doesn’t see any signs of that when he looks in Kane’s eyes. He doesn’t care about this identity crisis Kane is having. He knows who he is. He’s not The Big Red Machine, he’s not The Big Red Monster, he’s not The Devil’s Favourite Son, his name is Randy Orton.

R-Truth & Kofi Kingston vs Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger

Clothesline by Swagger misses and Kingston on the attack. Kingston up to the top rope and jumps onto Swagger. Two count. Ziggler clotheslines Kingston, Swagger with the Swagger Bomb and he hammers away on Kingston. Kingston tries to fight out but Swagger tags Ziggler in, Ziggler taunting Kingston. Ziggler going for a neckbreaker but Kingston with the backslide, tag to Swagger and Swagger landing elbows to Kingston. Submission hold by Swagger. Kingston fights back and off the ropes but Swagger picks him up over his shoulder and a DDT by Kingston. Tag to Truth and Truth clotheslining Ziggler, Irish whip and a corkscrew by Truth, face first suplex by Truth to Ziggler, Swagger comes in and gets clotheslined to the floor. Kingston taking care of Swagger. Truth going for the scissor kick but misses and Ziggler off the ropes, hits Truth. Truth down and Ziggler covers him but Vickie puts Dolph’s foot on the ropes.

Aksana runs over to where Vickie is and pushes Vickie. Aksana gets in the ring trying to tell the referee what happened but Vickie gets into the ring and gets in Aksana’s face and a brawl ensues but both teams pull Vickie and Aksana apart

Shawn Michaels comes out and says the HIAC match at Wrestlemania 28 between Triple H-Undertaker and what’s everyone talking about? The special referee HBK. He didn’t make a hall of fame career out of stealing the show. But he did steal the show at  Wrestlemania year after year and this year is no different. He holds the key to the end of an era. Now what’s going to happen? Well, everyone’s going to have to tune in to Wrestlemania. But for his prediction, everyone wants to know if he’s going to be impartial since he and Triple H have a 17 year long friendship. He then says “End Of An Era” is just code for “The End Of The Streak”. Out comes Undertaker. Undertaker says he did enough talking last week right now it would be in Shawn’s best interest to shut up and listen. Undertaker already told Shawn this match has to remain pure. Triple H comes out  and says Undertaker needs to stop worrying about HBK because as much as Shawn wants this thing to be about him and his ego, it’s not. It’s about Triple H and Undertaker. Two parallel careers side by side connected by one thing, the demonic structure known as Hell In A Cell. There have been 24 and both he and Undertaker have been in 19 of them it’s no coincidence. Inside the devil’s playground is where he learned what doesn’t kill him makes him stronger, it’s where he learned to survive. Where he learned to end a man’s career. All of those matches have led to one moment, April 1, Wrestlemania, Hell In A Cell and the whole world is going to see the end of an era. Undertaker’s. He knows what it’s going to take inside that hell in a cell. Undertaker asks if he’s sure and asks if Triple H is willing to put everything on the line. Triple H says if it means giving Undertaker the end he so richly deserves then he is and he will. Undertaker goes to leave but stops and turns around looking at both Triple H and Shawn Michaels and tells Triple H that when Undertaker said Shawn was better than Triple H, he meant it. Undertaker leaves and Triple H and Shawn are left standing in the ring as Raw goes off the air
