At last night's TNA Against All Odds pay-per-view, Jeremy "J.B." Borash was filling in for Taz at the commentary table due to a death in Taz's family. It turns out that it was Taz's brother-in-law who passed away. Taz posted the following on his Twitter:
"My wife's brother passed on Saturday night," Taz wrote. "Great man. I would've never had a career if it wasn't for him. Gave me the $ to go to wrestling school when I had nothing. RIP Joe."
There are still no further updates on the health of TNA X-Division competitor Jesse Sorensen at this time. For those who haven't heard, Sorensen suffered a severe head/neck injury at last night's PPV after taking a Moonsault from Zema Ion. Ion's knee landed on Jesse's head and Jesse's body went numb. The original planned finish for the match was abandoned and Sorensen was taken to a local hospital.
On behalf of all of us at WrestlingNewsSource.com, our thoughts and prayers go out to both Taz and his family, as well as Jesse Sorensen.
